What can I do to help with my sugar cravings?

  • Try having a piece of fruit, or coconut yoghurt with honey if you are craving sugar. These natural forms of sugar will aid in satisfying your cravings.
  • Ensure you are eating enough protein- protein aids in stabilising blood sugar and reducing sugar cravings and energy crashes. Try to have protein with every meal and snack. Good sources of protein include- nuts, seeds, eggs, quinoa, lentils, beans, fish, chicken, brown rice, avocado.
